They become the day, after they get the word, in two weeks, go for a battalion of Spokane home, will attack in an Iraqi town. Back home we follow four of them - a surgeon who saw too much, a teacher who is single mummy, and who lost a hand in the ambush, an infantry man whose best friend died on this day, and a soldier who continues to live through the moment once again, he killed a civil woman.
