In May 1944, a group of French servicewomen and resistance fighters are enlisted into the British Special Operations Executive commando group under the command of Louise Desfontaines and her brother Pierre. Only problem is that he just fired Lee, but after giving in to Lee’s demands he agrees. Lee enlists the aid of Gwen’s assistant, Kiki, who is her sister to help. When they get to the junket, things are still tense between them. And Kiki is trying hard to keep in check her feelings for Eddie.

Carl Peterson, an architect, has just get married with Molly, and it seems that they’re about to begin their happy life together. Everything is going fine, until Dupree, the best man and Carl’s best friend, shows up to invade the couple’s intimacy. Carl’s disposed to help his old friend, giving him a shelter in the couch, thinking that the whole thing will be for 2 or 3 days. Despite Dupree has promised Carl that he’ll look for a job the very next day, the immature and lazy bloke spend the time playing with the children from the neighborhood, or dating with a mysterious librarian girl. Molly begins to get tired of Dupree, but Carl must deal with another problem, his malevolent and overprotecting father-in-law, who has warned him that he wants his daughter keeps her maiden name and that he doesn’t even think about having children with her. Apparently, Dupree has came to stay with Molly and the stressed Carl, who doesn’t know how to get rid of him, becoming paranoiac because the charismatic Dupree is starting to take his place in the household.

The fifth Tennessee Williams play to reach the screen, wealthy Mississippi plantation owner Big Daddy Pollitt, unaware that he’s dying of cancer and disturbed by the strained and childless marriage of his favored alcoholic son Brick and his other son, Gooper, whose wife is about to bring forth another in the endless line of little “no-neck monsters,” celebrates his sixty-fifth birthday with his family. Brick’s wife, Maggie, beautiful and desirable, tries unsuccessfully to coax her husband away from the bottle, while alternately enticing him and taunting him about his obsession with his deceased best friend and the guilt about their relationship. The seamy tensions reach a climax when the truth of Big Daddy’s health is revealed, and he and Brick manage to resolve their differences.
