When commercial towing vehicle Nostromo, heading back to Earth, intercepts an SoS signal from a nearby planet, the crew are under obligation to investigate. After a bad landing on the planet, some crew members leave the ship to explore the area. At the same time as they discover a hive colony of some unknown creature, the ship’s computer deciphers the message to be a warning, not a call for help. When one of the eggs is disturbed, the crew do not know the danger they are in until it is too late. |

Criminal profiler and psychologist Dr Helen Hudson (Sigourney Weaver) becomes entangled in the deadly mind game of a vicious copycat serial killer Peter Foley (William Mcnamara). Due to the horrific attack Helen suffered in her past as an agoraphobic she is confined to her apartment. The killer uses this against her in his murderous attempts to become a famous serial killer. Detectives M. J Monahan (Holly Hunter) and Reuben Goetz (Dermot Mulroney) they have the challenge of trying to capture the killer before he kills again and uses his chance to commit another atrocious murder. |
