In this parody of buddy-cop comedies, General Curtis Mortars (William Shattner, “Star Trek”) and Mr. Jigsaw (Tim Curry, “Charlie’s Angels) are lacing Wilderness Girls cookies with cocaine. It’s up to Sergeants Jack Colt (Emilio Esteves, “The Mighty Ducks”) and Wes Luger (Samuel L. Jackson, “Pulp Fiction”), as well as Billy York informant Becker (Jon Lovitz, “Rat Race”), to put a stop to this.

1989. The Berlin Wall is about to fall, and the world is about to be made safe for the new world order. But outside of Stuttgart, West Germany, at Theodore Roosevelt Army Base, Specialist Ray Elwood of the 317th Supply Battalion (Joaquin Phoenix) is about to find his own cold war turn white hot. Elwood’s a loveable rogue, a conscript who’s managed to turn his military servitude into a blossoming network of black market deals, more out of boredom than ambition. Officially, there’s his day job as battalion secretary to the inept but caring Commander Wallace Berman (Ed Harris). On the side, there’s everything from selling the locals stolen Mop’N'Glo to cooking heroin for the base’s ruthless head of Military Police, Sgt. Saad. When a new top sergeant (Scott Glenn) arrives, with the avowed intention of cleaning the base up, Elwood thinks the new blood is nothing he can’t handle, especially after he lays eyes on the top’s daughter, rebellious Robyn (Anna Paquin). But that was before he figured in the $5 million in stolen arms that just landed on his lap, Berman’s jealous wife, an insane Turkish drug dealer, and, of course, the resulting lust, betrayal, and murder.

The Granton Star Cause: in the same day a young Leith lad is dumped by his football team, his girlfriend and his parents, arrested and beaten up by the police and turned into a fly by God, whom he meets in a pub. The Soft Touch: a man is too soft to do anything when his wife moves in with the thug upstairs. The Acid House: while tripping on acid, CoCo Brown is struck by lightning, causing him to switch bodies with a newborn baby.

The story begins of a sarcastic humanoid duck the size of a man by the name of Howard from outer space is pulled from his home world to Earth through a laser beam and somehow winds up in Cleavland where he meets and quickly befriends with Beverly Switzler, a lead singer where they must stop an alien invader known as the Dark Overlords at all costs.

The lives of three young people – a rich student, a girl from the “wrong side of the tracks” and her boyfriend – unexpectedly intersect during one fateful summer in the romantic drama “Here on Earth.” Kelley Morse (Chris Klein), who is cocky and brash, normally would never have crossed paths with the residents of a small town near his posh private school. But when he takes his shiny new Mercedes out for a drive, he locks horns with some of the locals, including Jasper (Josh Hartnett). As Jasper’s willful girlfriend Samantha (Leelee Sobieski) looks on, Kelley and Jasper engage in a dangerous car race that turns disastrous, leaving a popular diner owned by Samantha’s mother in ruins. Kelley and Jasper are sentenced to a creatively ironic but fitting punishment: They must help rebuild the diner. Not only does this ruin Kelley’s summer plans, he also must board at the home of his rival, Jasper. Kelley begins to fulfill his “sentence,” but refuses to have anything to do with Jasper and his parents. When Kelley again encounters Samantha, the attraction is immediate and strong. First love blossoms in the Berkshire woods (“a little bit of heaven, here on earth,” Samantha calls the pastoral setting), angering Jasper, who has known Samantha practically his entire life. These new feelings and the romantic triangle that develops are only the beginning of a new journey for Kelley, Samantha and Jasper, as they ultimately make life-changing discoveries about themselves and each other.
