Shy, to smoke the chain, the insomniac Peter McGowan is a L. TO. the playwright with a series of blows that preceded to his ten current years of unsuccessful productions. His mother-in-law sinks in the senility, a stranger winds the neighborhood that affirms to be he, the neighbors have a new dog that barks the whole night; his wife wants to have a child, and he does not do: he has become impotent. He influences a new game when an alone mom approaches nearby with his 8-year-old daughter. His wife immediately invites the girl in the McGowan house.
