The time is the 24th century and the ship is the newly commissioned Enterprise-E. It’s captain, Jean-Luc Picard, has been ordered not to interfere in a combat between a Borg Cube and ships from the Federation. However, seeing the Federation is about to lose, Picard ignore his orders and take command of the defending fleet. With his knowledge of the weak spot of the Cube, they destroy it. However, a small part of it escapes and plot a course directly to Earth. The Enterprise chases it and enters a time distortion created by the Borg. They end up in the mid 21st century, their only chance of stopping the Borg from assimilating Earth being to help Zefram Cochrane make his famous first faster than light travel to the stars…

In order to track down bail jumpers, Ralph ‘Papa’ Thorson goes on a series of routine and not-so-routine searches. Sometimes he takes down his quarry easily. A test run takes an unexpected turn, however, when the starship encounters two vessels trapped inside the Nexus, a mysterious energy ribbon. Unbeknownst to Picard, Soran harbors a deadly plan that includes the destruction of the Enterprise and millions of lives. Now Picard’s only hope for the future rests within the Nexus . . . and a legendary captain from the past.

On their way in the honeymoon of Riker and Troi, the Firm is sent near the neutral zone in the space Romulan and gathers a prototypic double of Data of android. Immediately they send them farther Romulus, where from a new praetor, Shinzon, a human being cloned Captain of Picardy who saw on the planet of slave Remus, has air to want peace with the Federation. But then the crew discovers a break-in on their computer systems and of Picardy is captured by the fact of Retenir because Shinzon needs him as his only supplier of appariement of genetic material. Of Picardy and the Firm are possible run away, only to think struggling against Warbird completely concealed by Shinzon, which is after the complete destruction of earth.

Sur leur voie à la lune de miel de Riker et Troi, l’Entreprise est envoyée près de la zone neutre à l’espace Romulan et recueille un double prototypic de Données d’androïde. Immédiatement on leur envoie plus loin à Romulus, d’où un nouveau préteur, Shinzon, un humain a cloné Capitaine Picard qui vit sur la planète d’esclave Remus, a l’air de vouloir la paix avec la Fédération. Mais alors l’équipage découvre une effraction sur leurs systèmes informatiques et Picard est capturé par le fait de Retenir parce que Shinzon a besoin de lui comme son seul fournisseur d’appariement de matière génétique. Picard et l’Entreprise peuvent s’enfuir, seulement pour se trouver luttant contre le Warbird complètement masqué de Shinzon, qui est après la destruction complète de terre.
