The conspiracy concerns Lewis Thomas (Paul Walker), a young man that the cross-country decides to go to gather to his love of secondary school, Venna Wilcox (Leelee Sobieski), of the school. In his way there, he dwarfs his brother, Fuller Thomas (Steve Zahn), of the jail. Fuller, looking for a good time, he decides to mount on horseback with Lewis. During his trip to gather Venna, Fuller it flatters Lewis in the game of a cruel prank, for his radio CB, in a truck driver known only like ‘Rusty Nail’ (expressed by Ted Levine). When the prank takes a mortal direction, Lewis, Venna, and Fuller it is to be watched mercilessly by the psychotic truck driver who looks more than an apology.
El complot concierne a Lewis Thomas (Paul Walker), un hombre joven que decide ir el campo traviesa para recoger a su amor de escuela secundaria, Venna Wilcox (Leelee Sobieski), del colegio. En su camino allí, él achica a su hermano, Thomas más Lleno (Steve Zahn), de la cárcel. Más lleno, buscando un tiempo bueno, decide montar a caballo con Lewis. Durante su viaje para recoger Venna, más Lleno lisonjea a Lewis en el juego de una broma cruel, por su radio CB, en un camionero, conocido sólo como ‘Clavo Oxidado’ (expresado por Ted Levine).
