Carlito Brigante is released of the jail after serving five years of a much longer extension. He swears of going straight and living through the life as a thin, strong citizen. He even re-stimulates a romance with his ex-lover. Nevertheless, it cannot seem that the Carlito associates leave him in the peace. his nephew implies a shooting of quarter of the fund, his lawyer asks him for “favors” what spiral of the control, and up to an old friend (now a wheelchair tied the paraplegic one) it tries to obtain him in the problem with the law. Carlito decides to do a career to Florida and the promise of a new life, but it has a final dramatic escape to do of some hoods who believe (incorrectly) that he was behind the murder of his chief.
