200 years after the Roman von Mary Shelley the excellent, but mad doctor (Thomas Kretschmann) has supported his being and itself more than two centuries by the genetic experimentation. In the today’s detective of America O’Connor (Parker Posey) a row of the awful murders which she leads to the doctor and his being examines. What she uncovers, reveals the foreign evolution which experience the doctor and his development about the course of two centuries and take the breaking up path creator and the monster in pursuing well or badly.

Based on a true history, the film says the history of two pigs, called the Dyke and Sundance, who organised a dramatic escape of a slaughterhouse in January of 1998 and stayed in general for week in spite of the best effort of the press and of the public to re-capture them.
