This is a new version of Cyrano de Bergerac, one of the most celebrated plays of the French theater, written by Edmond Rostand. Instead of France was established in the 17th century, “Cyrano” was modified “for Charlie”, fire chief in a small city in Washington. Jack Dodd was a London butcher who enjoyed a pint with his comrades for more than 50 years. Along the way the threads of her lives, to her love, and her disappointments are weaved together in her recollections by Jack and his wife Amy.
