Jayne Ferré must come out of Los Angeles fast. A remarkably nice woman, even more pitiless murderer for the amount; she is on the run with a suitcase which, with one million dollars in the blood money is full from which mass boss Frank Bianci is stolen. 16-year-old Kerry is on the run of a drug dealer’s sentence on the repayment. His mother Emily decides to take Kerry and to start a new life in Texas, but does not have enough money to come here. Jayne who carries now a price on her head must take away a would-be murderer in the railway station, before she agrees to cover the issues of Emily if she can fix a journey to San Antonio. Emily and her son accept gladly the offer. The car of the unlikely trio breaks down and needs parts. They will leave without choice, they check in in a small motel for a night. While Jayne takes a shower, smuggles kerry a look by her possession and discovers the case of the cash. Then during the night, well-intentioned queues of Kerry in the room of Jayne and thefts the briefcase, a journey moors back to Los Angeles. Jayne understands what happened, but must deal first with the men of Bianci in a flaming up gun fight beyond the motel. Jayne forces Emily in a car and goes back to L. A. until Emily makes a courageous escape. Alex Tyler, an agent of FBI and apparently merciful Samaritan, takes up Emily and takes her back to L. A. In the house of Emily mass boss Frank Bianci is dead together with a stooped detective if Alex gets a phone call of Jayne, and it becomes clear that they work together. Jayne has hostage of Kerry, and Emily must bring her money, or she will kill him. But if Emily gets her hands on a gun, she turns the tables, and a deadly dead point follows between two educated murderers, some dirty policemen, the amount, and a mother and the son in what becomes a deadly play of jokes to remain in the life.
Jayne Ferré muss aus Los Angeles schnell herauskommen. Während sich Jayne duscht, schmuggelt kerry einen Blick durch ihren Besitz und entdeckt den Fall des Bargeldes. Während der Nacht, gut gemeinter Schlangen von Kerry ins Zimmer von Jayne und Diebstähle die Aktentasche, macht dann eine Fahrt zurück nach Los Angeles fest. Im Haus von Emily ist Massenchef Frank Bianci zusammen mit einem gekrümmten Detektiv tot, wenn Alex einen Anruf von Jayne bekommt, und es klar wird, dass sie zusammenarbeiten. Jayne hat Geisel von Kerry, und Emily muss ihr Geld bringen, oder sie wird ihn töten. Aber wenn Emily ihre Hände auf eine Pistole bekommt, dreht sie die Tische, und ein tödlicher toter Punkt folgt zwischen zwei erzogenen Mördern, einigen schmutzigen Polizisten, der Menge, und einer Mutter und dem Sohn darin, was ein tödliches Spiel von Witzen wird, um am Leben zu bleiben.
