Pendant les mois suivants, Barrie enfantin joue avec les garçons tous les jours et leurs jeux imaginatifs lui donnent des idées pour un jeu. Simultanément, une amitié s’approfondit avec Sylvia, la mère des gars, au dépit de sa femme Mary, avec qui il passe peu de temps (les chambres à coucher séparées), la mère de la veuve et la haute société, qui bavarde sur son attraction à la veuve et à ses fils. Comme la santé de Sylvia se détériore, les cravates de Barrie aux garçons se fortifient et il doit trouver une voie de prendre sa muse à Neverland.

Alex Rose (Stiller) and Nancy Kendricks (Barrymore) are young people, professionals, couple of New York in search of their dream at home. Connelly est un aîné énergique qui aime regarder sa télévision au jour de volume supérieur dans et au jour et répéter dans une fanfare. Un auteur, Alex essaie de finir son roman contre une date limite surgissant. Cependant, chaque jour comme il commence à écrire, il est interrompu par Mme.. Les nombreuses demandes de Connelly et les demandes et ce qui commence comme une peste s’aggravent vite dans tout-la guerre. Quand Nancy perd son travail et la paire sont piégés à la maison ensemble avec Mme.. Connelly, leur rage tourne à la fantaisie homicide comme ils complotent des voies de se débarrasser de leur voisin sans bien.
