The half-wolf, half-husky named Balto gets a chance to become a hero when an outbreak of diphtheria threatens the children of the name, in Alaska in the winter of 1925. He leads a dog team in a 600-miles journey through the Alaskan wild for medical supplies. The film is based on a true story that inspired the Iditarod dog sled race.

After the big victory of the baby in the Shepherding quarrel farmer Arthur Hoggett turns around all offers to make money with the talents of his pig. But if he is strictly injured in, thus, his woman must take up agriculture. She does them best of all, but cannot correspond to the demands of the bank which runs out to the need to come back to the baby. Esme Hoggett soon sits in an airplane shut “to the” town. There baby causes with reluctance deep difficulties. He must remain with the woman. Hoggett at the only hotel in the town which accepts domestic animals. Friendly neighbours send officials who catch all animals of the hotel: Cats, dogs, chimpanzees and many others. Baby, this got to remain free, decides to help his new friends, and gets unexpected help - not only by Ferdinand who flew the whole way to the town.

The farmer Hoggett wins to a runt piglet in a local just and young Baby, when the piglet decides to be called, offers friendship and learns on all the other creatures for the farm. He makes special friends with one of the sheepdogs, Fly. With help of the Fly, and intuition of the Farmer Hoggett, the Baby tackles a career in sheepherding with a little of surprise and spectacular results.

El agricultor Hoggett gana a un cochinillo de runt en un Nene justo y joven local, cuando el cochinillo decide llamarse, ofrece amistad y aprende sobre todas las otras criaturas por la granja. Él se hace amigos especiales con uno de los perros pastores, Mosca. A gray bear called Boog, domesticated by a forest ranger of park, Beth, help to friend’s escape of deer Elliot of a sporting hunter shears that they moo, Shaw. When Elliot decides to return the favor in order that he helps the escape of Boog de Beth it thinks that Boog is very happy with his domesticated house. After a mistake, Beth is convinced what Boog is reverting to his wild nature and sets it free in the wood so as the station hunting begins. Boog has not any idea as it will survive on the outside of his garage at home with his beloved Beth. Elliott and Boog develop a strong obligation not only between them but also with the wild animals and try to expel the hunters of the forest.
