Sam Lowry is a technocrat harassed in a futuristic society which is convoluted unnecessarily and badly organised. He dreams about a life where he can fly off of technology and bureaucracy of suppression and cross the eternity with the wife of his dreams. By trying to rectify the unjustified arrest of Harry Buttle, Lowry meets the woman whom he always hunts in his dreams, Jill Layton. Meanwhile, bureaucracy touched him responsible for redness of bombings of the terrorists and both Sam and Jill’s lives are endangered.
