In 1638 Reine de la France gives birth to a boy, who will inherit the throne one day. But, only known to few, there is a double brother minutes some born later. 22 years later, king Louis XIV governs the country of France, but because of his lifestyle and war prices, people are forced to suffer hunger and poverty. Musketeers, who had served its father Louis XIII truthfully, only one is still on the side of the king: D’Artagnan, Capitain of the guards of the king. His three companions Aramis, Athos and Porthos retired in civil life a long time ago. One day on a royal party, the young people and loved the king accepts a crush on Christine. This young lady is the fiancé of soldier Raul, the son of Athos. Without agitation besides, the king makes recruit Raul and sent in war, so that he could himself take care of her. Soon Raul dies in battle and the king has him of the way. But Athos, Aramis and Porthos think of a plan to take revenge on the king. Aramis shows that there is a man in an iron mask in a very sure prison and that the existance of this man can resolve all present problems. Therefore they liberate the double brother hidden from the king and say to him that he is, as he does not hesitate of course of guilt and has no idea of very why he was imprisoned for 6 years with this mask forged around the head. Plan is to replace now the mediocre king with his brother to a party of farce held soon. Only D’Artagnan still keeps the king and therefore he must turn round against his old friends.
En 1638 Reine Anne de la France donne naissance à un garçon, qui héritera le trône un jour. Mais, seulement connu à peu, il y a un frère double minutes quelques nées plus tard. 22 ans plus tard, Roi Louis XIV gouverne le pays de la France, mais en raison de son style de vie et les prix de guerre, les gens sont forcés à subir la faim et la pauvreté. Des Mousquetaires, qui avaient servi son père Louis XIII fidèlement, seulement un est encore sur le côté du roi : D’Artagnan, le Capitain des gardes du roi. Ses trois compagnons Aramis, Athos et Porthos ont pris la retraite dans la vie civile il y a longtemps. Un jour sur un parti royal, les jeunes et a non aimé le roi reçoit une bousculade sur Christine. Cette jeune dame est le fiancé de soldat Raoul, le fils d’Athos. Sans agitation de plus, le roi fait recruter Raoul et envoyé à la guerre, pour qu’il lui-même puisse s’occuper d’elle. Bientôt Raoul meurt dans la bataille et le roi l’a de la voie. Mais Athos, Aramis et Porthos pensent à un plan de prendre la vengeance sur le roi. Aramis montre qu’il y a un homme dans un masque en fer dans une prison très sûre et que l’existance de cet homme peut résoudre tous les présents problèmes. Donc ils libèrent le frère double caché du roi et lui disent qu’il est, comme il n’hésite pas évidemment de la culpabilité et n’a aucune idée du tout pourquoi il a été emprisonné depuis 6 ans avec ce masque forgé autour de sa tête. Le plan est de remplacer maintenant le méchant roi avec son frère à un parti de mascarade tenu bientôt. Seulement D’Artagnan garde encore le roi et donc il doit se retourner contre ses vieux amis.
