Plot Summary:
Shrek is a big monster who lives alone in the woods which are feared by all people in the country of Duloc. If Mr. Farquaad, the ruler of Duloc, all fairy tale beings exiles in the woods, Shrek solves his peaceful life, and his house becomes a refugee camp. So, he sets to find Mr. Farquaad and to persuade him, to take back the fairy tale beings where they belong, and leave alone him. Mr. Farquaad accepts under a condition. Shrek must go first and find the nice young princess Fiona whom the bride of Farquaad will become. So, the big monster begins his search together with his new-fictitious donkey friend.
Shrek ist ein großes Ungeheuer, das allein in den Wäldern lebt, die von allen Leuten im Land von Duloc gefürchtet sind. Wenn Herr Farquaad, der Herrscher von Duloc, alle Märchen-Wesen in den Wäldern verbannt, löst Shrek sein friedliches Leben, und sein Haus wird ein Flüchtlingslager. Also, er geht unter, um Herrn Farquaad zu finden und ihn zu überzeugen, die Märchen-Wesen zurück zu nehmen, wo sie gehören, und ihn allein lassen. Herr Farquaad akzeptiert unter einer Bedingung.
