Plot Summary:
During the wars napoleônicas, a British frigate, the Surprise of HMS, and a much bigger French warship, the Acheron, with the biggest fire power, attack to the espreita one to other of of the coast of the South America. Russell Crowe brings the great intensity to the paper of a Captain Jack Aubrey. Since he gives himself up over it for his crew, it is well considered Lucky Jack by his men, who trust him implicitly, even after the first devastating battle and an obvious personal vendetta against the French captain. Paul Bettany offers a strong realization as the surgeon and naturalist who balances the violence of his life chosen with the calm conduct of the scientist. He is the friend of the captain and confidant, the two frequently duets of cello and violin of play together. The horrors of the damages of the war are frequently contained, but animatedly represented in the reactions of the characters.
Durante as guerras napoleônicas, uma fragata britânica, a Surpresa de HMS, e um navio de guerra francês muito mais grande, os Acheron, com o maior poder de fogo, atacam à espreita um a outro de da costa da América do Sul. Russell Crowe traz a grande intensidade ao papel do Capitão Jack Aubrey. Lucky Jack, como ele se entrega a pela sua tripulação, é bem considerado pelos seus homens, que confiam nele implicitamente, até depois da primeira batalha devastadora e uma vendeta pessoal evidente contra o capitão francês.
