Plot Summary:
The romantic comedy established in London up to the end of the 16th century: the playwright young William Shakespeare fights with his last work “Romeo and Ethel to Daughter of a Pirate”. A great supporter of plays of Shakespeare is the young, rich Viola who is on the point to be married with insensible Sir Wessex, but constantly dreams of becoming an actress. Women were not allowed to act in the stage then (the feminine papers were fulfilled by men, also), but it dressed like a boy, the Viola with success does an audition for the part of Romeo. Soon it links and they are caught William in a prohibited novel that supplies the rich inspiration of his play.
A comédia romântica estabeleceu em Londres até o final do 16o século: o dramaturgo jovem William Shakespeare luta com o seu trabalho último “Romeo e Ethel a Filha do Pirata”. Um grande torcedor de jogos de Shakespeare é a Viola jovem, rica quem está a ponto estar casado com Senhor insensível Wessex, mas constantemente sonhos de tornar-se atriz. Não se permitiu que mulheres atuassem na etapa então (os papéis femininos foram desempenhados por homens, também), mas vestiu-se como um rapaz, a Viola com sucesso faz uma audição para a parte de Romeo. Logo ela e William são pegados em um romance proibido que fornece a inspiração rica do seu jogo.
